The Paua Butterfly Campaign
Is raising funds to make the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute a reality, and is seeking pledges over the next three years to equip and commission the Institute’s premises. Beyond that, the Campaign will focus on creating a $10m capital fund to ensure long term financial security for the Institute.
They have a range of levels available for donors and sponsors to contribute and there will be appropriate recognition for those who support the campaign.
These include:
* Naming rights of laboratories and other spaces
* Naming rights to research fellowships
* Naming of pieces of research equipment in the Institute
* Recognition on the two Honours Boards, one in the Institute foyer and one in the main Hutt Hospital
foyer
* Recognition in the various publications produced by the Institute and its parent body, the Foundation
Recognition of each contribution of $1 million or more can be agreed by negotiation. The Foundation is a registered charitable trust; donations are fully tax deductible.
There are 8 levels for donors and sponsors to contribute to:
* Paua Butterfly for gifts of 1 million dollars or more.
* Monarch Butterfly for gifts of $ 500,000 to $750,000
* Red Admiral for gifts of $100,000 to 499,999
* Yellow Admiral for gifts of $50,000 to $99,999
* Copper Butterfly for gifts of $20,000 to $49,999
*NZ Blue Butterfly for gifts of $10,000 to $19,999
* Forest Ringlet Butterfly for gifts of $5,000 to $9,999; and finally
* Chrysalis Club for gifts of up to $4,999
