It’s so easy to define what can be done by what has been done before. But what if we decided that what had been done before was the least we could do? Dr. Lucian Newman describes first hand his experiences of pushing the limits with one arm — and a lot of willpower — and what that can do in a two-armed world.

Lucian Newman III“Dr. Lucian Newman III is a fourth generation, Board-certified Physician. He currently practices General Surgery in Gadsden, Alabama, serving on both the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama Physician Advisory Boards.

During his residency in Atlanta, Georgia, (1988-1993) Dr. Newman was involved with an innovative research project in laparoscopic procedures, later he travelled the globe teaching and performing new laparoscopic procedures. He served on the International Advisory Board for Eli Lilly/Origin MedSystems from 1993-1998.

Dr. Newman has authored/co-authored more than 30 articles and 5 textbooks. He is a nationally recognised speaker on physician documentation and coding. He is a three-time National Amputee Golf Association Champion.”
