“Rob Prestowitz is the founder of Urban Promise Wilmington, a faith-based organisation that gets along side inner-city youth through educational programmes. It’s goal is to offer a positive atmosphere, a caring, long-term relationship with each child and the development of leaders from within the community.

Rob Prestowitz believes that the Urban Promise programme has delivered ‘longitudinal, sustainable success’ without any government funding primarily relying on donations from individuals, churches and Foundations.
